Overfly the airfield first and ensure no wildlife is on the runway. Airfield located in high mountain valley and surrounded by timbered, high mountain peaks. This is the highest elevation backcountry airfield in Idaho–8250´ MSL. Request land Runway 03 and takeoff Runway 21 if weather conditions allow. Runway 03–21 dirt & gravel. Runway 03–21 actual runway dimensions are: 1900 foot x 55 foot. Be aware of soft spot located just past the mid–field, right side of Runway 03, and stumps location at both runway ends.
