AIRPORT REMARKS: Attended 1100–0500Z‡. Birds and wildlife frequently on and in the vicinity of airport. 120´ pole .75 NM south of airport unlighted. Personnel and equipment working adjacent to all operational surfaces daylight hours April through October. There may be standing water adjacent to all surfaces. Uneven surfaces Runway 29 safety area approach end left side. Extensive helicopter operations below 10,000 foot 5–15 miles NW through NE, for traffic information when in the vicinity of airport contact Sikorsky operations on 133.6 (1200–2130Z‡). Runway 29 closed to takeoff aircraft more than 45,000 lb except 30 minutes Prior Permission Required 203–576–7497. Avoid overflying residential areas NE and Southeast of airport. Departing Runway 24 avoid turns until 1/2 mile beyond shoreline. TPA—1009(1000) for single engine aircraft, 1509(1500) all others. When winds are less than 5 kts requested use of Runway 11 or Runway 29. When the tower is closed all engine runups are prohibited. However, if an aircraft requires nighttime engine maintenance, Prior Permission Required from airport manager is required and the runups are to be performed on Taxiway G between Taxiway J and Taxiway K. Pilots are advised to use care in positioning their aircraft to prevent damage from propeller wash to airfield sign. Runway 06–24 and Runway 11–29, 90 day Prior Permission Required for unscheduled air carrier operations greater than 30 passenger seats–call airport manager. Parking fee all aircraft after 2 hours.
