AIRPORT REMARKS: Attended 1400–0430Z‡. Hang gliding operations 9 miles south of airport near ski area and 9 miles south–southwest of airport along the ridge. Balloon operations in the vicinity of airport, west and southwest, May–October. Sage grouse on and in the vicinity of airport April–October. 35´–53´ trees 700´–800´ west of threshold Runway 01. Possible severe winter condition from November–April. No airport information or snow removal guaranteed during hours of non–attendance. 307–733–7682. Paved 950 x 200 foot safety area at the departures end of Runway 19; not usable for performance calculations; plowed and broomed during winter. Cold temperature airport. Altitude correction required at or below –21C. All movement areas surface available for air carrier operations. Deicing pad located at north end of Taxiway A. All stage 2 aircraft, regardless of weight, prohibited. Aircraft that fail to touch down within the first third of Runway 01–19 sometimes fail to stop on the runway and are at risk for a runway excursion.
