Frequent glider activity during weekends, powered aircraft be alert for glider traffic launching from field and operating on and in the vicinity of airport, surface to 18,000´ MSL. Occasional wildlife on and in the vicinity of airport. Wind permitting, recommend land Runway 07 and departures Runway 25 due to 480´ hill 1 mile east of airport. Rapidly rising terrain all quadrants. Recommend runway to ramp transition, asphalt to soft dirt, at taxiway stub midfield, all other areas asphalt to gravel. Helipad skid/run–on landing and autorotations prohibited. RDO equipped aircraft shall self–announce on CTAF prior to landing or takeoff. Pin to obtain vehicle access to airport, call 619–956–4800.
