Pilots conducting Enhanced Flight Vision Systems (EFVS) operations; be aware LED approach lighting system in use Runway 26L. Lighted golf range 1400´ South of Runway 01L–19R and Runway 01R–19L. Extensive glider/soaring operations weekends and holiday, sunrise–sunset, LAS R187/020, altitudes up to but not including FL180. Gliders remain clear of the Terminal Control Area but otherwise operating within the entire SW quadrant of the Terminal Control Area Veil. Aircraft may experience reflection of sun from glass hotels located Northwest of airport. Reflection may occur at various altitudes, headings and distances from airport. practice low approach authorized between 1000–1400Z‡. Numerous helicopter operations on west side of airport. Aircraft using full length departures on Runway 08L use minimal power until passing the power–up point on runway. Power–up point is 348´ east of blast pad and marked with sign and standard markings for beginning of runway. Turbojet departures not permitted on Runway 01R–19L or Runway 01L–19R 0400–1600Z‡. Operate transponders with altitude reporting mode and ADS–B (if equipped) enabled on all airport surfaces. Aircraft taxiing westbound on Taxiway B near Taxiway E use caution not to enter the runway on Taxiway Y, aircraft taxiing westbound on Taxiway W near Taxiway E use care not to enter the runway on Taxiway U. Aircraft with wingspan greater than 135 foot Prior Permission Required from Department of Aviation to use Taxiway H. All aircraft contact ramp control on frequency 124.4 for operations at A, B, C gates, and GA, customs; contact ramp control frequency 127.9 for operations at D and E gates and cargo ramp prior to entering ramp or pushing back from gate or parking spot. Aircraft operating near the intersection of Taxiways S, D, G and the North end of Taxiway Z should be alert as there are closely aligned taxiway centerlines and radius turns. Aircraft that departures full length of Runway 01L and Runway 08L must hold at the same hold line, as there is no room to hold between the runway ends and such aircraft should verify that they are on the correct runway. Aircraft departures Runway 19R use minimal power passing the runway threshold. Runway 19R threshold has standard runway markings and is 780´ South of the blast pad.
