AIRPORT REMARKS: Attended Monday–Saturday 1500–0200Z‡. Be alert heavy aircraft activity in the vicinity of Lake Murray and Mountain Soledad. Surface Awareness Initiative Display (SAID) in use. Operate transponders with altitude reporting mode and ADS–B (if equipped) enabled on all airport surfaces. Pilots are urged to be vigilant for other aircraft in these areas and to contact the tower early enough for timely traffic advisories if proceeding east bound advise tower of destination airport. Be alert to military jet aircraft in the vicinity of airport and 4.7 NM Northwest of airport bearing 312º in the vicinity of Mission Bay VORTAC. Be alert birds on and in the vicinity of airport. Coyote activity on runways and taxiways. Practice low approaches are prohibited 0730–1430Z‡. Simulated engine failures are prohibited over residential areas. No jet touch and go operations. Departures use Runway 10L when tower not operating and wind permitting. TPA—Runway 10R–28L, 10L–28R and 05–23—multi–engine/turbo powered 2027(1600); Single engine 1427(1000). Prior Permission Required for military and civilian helicopters over 6000 lbs max takeoff weight landing at mid–port; contact airport manager. Runway 23 used as runway exit for Runway 28R. No aircraft over 20,000 lbs on Taxiway J restricted by FBO. Taxilane E non–standard, aircraft with wingspan greater than 35.5 foot use caution. Taxiway K restricted to wingspan no greater than 58´.
